Columbia | Mike Franklin

by Mike Franklin
Wayne visits his good buddy Dan Farr at G&G motors. He always mixes a little pleasure with business and can’t go very long with out telling a joke or funny story.
During breakfast at the Cricle R restaurant on East 80, Wayne’s retirement makes the front page of the Adair Progress. The headline reads “Out to Pasture.” Wayne enjoys the attention. The man wearing the golf hat is McKinney, a business building materials salesman.
Back on the farm, Wayne couldn’t wait to get on his 1952 John Deer Model A. Livesay owns 11 tractors, most of them antiques.
Unfortunately there is no info with this photo.
This newspaper clipping shows Wayne Lindsey u=in his early days as Adair County Extension Agent.
