Lafayette | Renee Ittner-McManus

by Renee Ittner-McManus
There’s an impromptu kiss for Hall while Zack’s mother, sister and brother continue with breakfast.
Zach gets a face-washing lesson from his grandfather. The two get up at dawn each day to begin the chores.
Even when no one tells hime to, Zach lends a helping hand, washing dishes in Mary Rushing’s kitchen.
It’s time for lunch. Where’s Pa?
Hall and Rushing walk on her farm while Zach runs the fence line.
Zach gets bundled up to join his father for the weekend.
Ernest Hall tickles his grandson Zach who interrupted him from an after-lunch nap. Halls girlfriend Mary Rushing looks on, amused.
Zack, 4, holds up a kitten from his grandfather’s farm. The scratches on his face resulted from a perturbed kitten trying to get off his head where he had perched it.
Four-year-old Zack Scott sticks close to his grandfather, Ernest Hall, who is “pa” to Zack.
