Lafayette | Marc Piscotty

by Marc Piscotty
After spending eight hours at the office Goad comes home to find more chores and just as many problems. He couldn’t get one of his yard tools to work and after numerous unsuccessful attempts he decided to give up and take it easy.
As a Farm Service Representative from Macon County Bank and Trust Ray Goad’s responsibilities include some pretty unusual tasks for a banker; including castrating young cattle. his clients include customers of the bank and some who aren’t, it’s more of a good-will gesture on the part of the bank.
Goad takes an early morning walk, looking for one of his friends on their farm. A truck that hasn’t been used in a while sits idle in the foreground.
A rusted old gas pump sits idle alongside one of the many backroads in Lafayette, Tn.

Wines start to obscure an election sign that has outlived its useful life. The sign was posted on the side of an abandoned grain mill in the middle of the country in Lafayette, Tn.
