Tim Best is band director drill instructor and mother hen all in one.
Along with directing the Metcalfe County High School band, Best also teaches the high school chorus, all the music classes in the high school and middle school, and choreographs drills for
the flag corps.
Despite all the orders barked out during band rehersals and music classes. Best cares a lot about the more than 70 students he teaches. He says it’s important to take time to praise students
and he often gives stranded students rides home.
