The Carters have been married for 72 years. he Carters pose for a portait in their backyard."If I said we never fought, that would be a lie," said May Carter, 91, of Mayfield about Leon, her husband of 72-years. "She did a fine job on them," Leon Carter, 96, said of his his wife's repair job on the knees of this pants. Leon and May, 91, have been married for 73 years. "I just loved cleaning and working around the house," May said.
