Charles Yarbrough arrives for his final day of work for the week - Saturday. The day before church is a busy one, many times with customers lining the chairs and outside waiting for a cut.
During a break on a busy Saturday, Charles Yarbrough trims his own beard for tomorrow's Sunday service.
Trayvis Hendrix jokes with friends as Darius Walker of Yarbrough Barber Shop prepares to cut his hair, Oct. 19. Although Darius is a little older than Trayvis, they grew up in Madisonville together and now Trayvis comes by for his weekly haircut.
Deaelin Stone takes the fro down to the skin after a year of growing it out. He "got the run-around" when asking several people to braid it and now that he will be traveling in his new job with MPW he decided it was time.

Seventeen-month-old Jeffrey Bruner gets his first haircut from Charles Yarbrough of Yarbrough Barber Shop on North Kentucky Avenue. Melisa and her husband Jeff saved a lock of hair, and Jeffrey was rewarded with a bag of Cheetos.
Ducks take an early morning swim through the fog at the Madisonville City Park.
