"We have a literature-based curriculum with a focus on incidental teaching, meaning we read a lot," Barbara Adams said. "If there is something they're interested in, we research it and do activities on it."Allison Adams, 8, acts out part of her reading during literature lessons. Her mother, Barbara, home-schools Allison and her three siblings. "If you asked me 20 years ago, I never would have thought I'd be doing this," Barbara Adams said.
