Farrier

Bobby Isham chats with mail carrier Verlinda Sanford Thursday outside Isham's Lawrenceburg home. Sanford has been delivering mail in Anderson County for 18 and a half years. "She knows every person and every dog in the county," said Isham.
After a morning of shoeing horses, farrier Bobby Isham gives his feet a break by putting on more comfortable shoes. Isham has been shoeing throughout Kentucky and across the country for 43 years. "It seems I've shod a horse behind every tree in Kentucky," he said.
