The Lucketts

by Stephen Voss
Preston and Amy Luckett survey their property. They were married in 1946 and have lived on this property since 1949, raising 16 children here.
Preston Luckett walks back to his house after checking his mail. Luckett, an avid Bush/Cheney supporter, proudly displays multiple posters on his lawn.
Amy Luckett and her husband Preston read the daily newspaper together while sitting at their kitchen table.
Preston Luckett talks to a friend at the Cedarwood Restaurant, a stop on Preston's stops on his "morning runs" to visit friends and family at various businesses near his home. Conversations at the Cedarwood often are political, and the table's centerpiece has the words "Liar's Table" emblazoned on it.
