Dr. Guilfoil heads back to his truck after pregnancy checking 40 cows at the farm of Glyn Bowles and his son Larry.
Veterinarian Bobby Austin Guilfoil, 67, is a senior partner at the Animal Clinic of Glasgow, which has two branches and treats large and small animals. The clinic also makes house and farm calls throughout Barren County.
Guilfoil spays a cat from the Bowling Green Humane Society as vet tech Penny Riddle stands by.
Alan Cumberland, an animal control officer for Glasgow-Barren County, and Dr. Guilfoil, right, lift a 90-pound Rottweiler onto the scales. The dog and his brother were brought in to be vacinated and neutered before being handed over to an animal rescuer. The dogs had been beaten and suffered from severe separation anxiety.
