This is where it all began. More than two centuries ago, the first draft of the state’s constitution was drawn and decided. Those trailblazing statesmen pulled together the state’s ideas and priorities and nailed them to a document once and for all. When they were finished, Kentucky was born, and Danville became its beating heart. Even today it’s still pounding with the beat of bustling markets, progressive politics and involved citizens.
